This is a photo of some of my relatives that I “enhanced” with Picasa editing software called Picnik. The family headed down to Kettle Point, Ipperwash Beach, Ont., Canada for an outing. The picture is from around 1918. I guess my great great great grandma was wearing her casual hat.

They seem very intense and solitary, especially with the space between the figures. Like cutouts set up between the water and the sky.Caitlin
